Chubbies Tiny Houses imports powder coated galvanized steel beams and columns, EPS wallboard, steel purlins, from China. These materials are assembled at our Fontabelle workshop location, and your completed unit is trucked to your location.

In the case of combo units or when access to your site is limited, we will transport the materials and build on your site.

As an alternative to EPS wallboard we offer traditional walls of concrete board outside/drywall inside on treated pine studs. Outside concrete board is stronger than EPS, and much easier to paint allowing your choice of colour. Inside drywall also is much easier to paint than EPS, lends itself to interior decoration.

We have partnered with Oran and offer a variety of their doors, windows and fixed glass panels. Glass sliding doors can also be fitted. We can also have doors and windows custom built to your design.

Our  standard units are 3 meters wide, that 9.75ft approximately, shipping containers are 8ft wide. Our units therefore cannot attach to the normal container truck hooks, but actually over lap the truck bed, as such transport needs a 20ft flatbed truck with a crane, so that both our 3 meter beams sit squarely on the truck bed. United Freighting Services has moved many of our units and we highly reccomend them.
